
COVID-19: B.C. easing restrictions, vaccine passport and indoor masking remain – February 15, 2022

In Victoria, John Horgan, the premier of British Columbia, Dr. Bonnie Henry, B.C.'s provincial health officer, and B.C. Health Minister Adrian Dix provide an update on the COVID-19 situation in the province. Dr. Henry outlines the easing of several restrictions. Effective February 16 at 11:59 p.m., restrictions on indoor personal gatherings as well as all indoor and outdoor organized gatherings will be lifted. Indoor seated events, fitness centres, restaurants, and bars will also be returned to full capacity. The provincial government will review the remaining COVID-19 measures, including the vaccine card and masking in indoor public places, by March 15, and again by April 12.
